How To Get Rid Of Man Boobs?
That took about a month of concerted effort using the program outlined below and today I’m going to tell you how get rid of your man boobs and get a chest so hard you could crack an egg on it, how does that sound?
Awesome! I’m not kidding, either: I suffered from this horrible condition for three years before I finally figured out how to get rid of it, and you can do it as well if you really want to. Now, first of all, there are two reasons that could be responsible for the condition known as Gynecomastia:
1) You’re a teenage male experiencing hormone fluctuations during puberty which are causing enlarged and oversensitive breasts (in which case you can wait it out, try the program I recommend at the end, or you could go to a doctor and get hormone therapy), or:
2) Your body fat percentage is too high (you’re overweight) and your body is storing it’s excess body fat in your chest. Now, there’s several different ways to go about getting rid of excess chest fat on men…
You can have a surgical breast reduction done (liposuction), you can undergo hormone therapy if you believe that they’re caused by excessive estrogen in your system (possible), or if it’s simply the result of a higher-than-normal body fat percentage (the most likely explanation) then all you have to do is the right exercises (which we’re going to cover right now!) and the proper diet (which we’re also going to cover).
M-O-T-I-V-A-T-I-O-N:

A little motivation to help get you on that workout program!
1st Step: Diet
Portion size is very important: it doesn’t matter what you’re eating if you’re eating huge quantities of it, you’re still not going to lose weight. First of all I’d recommend you use smaller plates–I know it doesn’t sound like a big deal but a small portion looks a lot smaller on a big plate. Next, I would recommend that you consume 60% carbohydrates, 35% protein, and 15% fat (or less if you desire).
Also, stay away from sugar and white flour in general and only consume whole wheat and whole grains (wheat bread, brown rice, wheat pasta, etc.), next you should be eating 5-6 times per day, because eating raises your metabolism and your body has to burn calories to digest food, so you’re better off eating 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day than 3 moderately sized ones.
2nd Step: Strength Training
Strength training is excellent for burning fat, especially on men, for several reasons: doing heavy-weight, low-rep strength training burns a LOT of calories (just as much or more than aerobic exercise for the same amount of time, even though it might not seem as strenuous), second of all muscle burns more calories when it’s not in use than fat, therefore the more muscle you have on your body the more calories you’ll burn even when you’re not doing any physical work (yes, you can actually lose weight in your sleep, technically speaking).
And lastly building up muscle will help to shape and tone your chest (yes, do those bench presses!) so that when you do get your body fat down your chest will be hard and chiseled looking. Work each muscle group only ONCE per week, say chest, arms, and back on Tuesday, and then legs and abs on Thursday, for example.
3rd Step: Aerobic Exercise
Aerobic exercise’s main purpose here is to burn calories for us, so that we’re getting rid of calories from three different directions: diet, strength training, and aerobic exercise. A side benefit, of course, is that it will significantly improve your overall health, especially your cardiovascular system.
The great thing about aerobic exercise is that you have so many different options to choose from: racquetball, basketball, running, swimming, tennis, elliptical machines, stair climbers, spinning machines, cycling machines, treadmills, etc.
Simply do one of these at a high intensity for 20-30 minutes at least 3 times a week (if you haven’t exercised recently, start at only ONCE per week, and build up from there), and that along with strength training and diet will give you a very hard and well-shaped chest in just a few months.
Dealing with the hormone imbalance issue
To understand the issue that’s likely causing your man boobs (gynecomastia), it’ll be necessary to go into a bit of detail concerning precisely what gynecomastia is and what causes it–we’re going to get a bit technical with some medical terminology here, but I promise you I’m going somewhere with this, namely a solution that you can implement to balance out your hormones and get rid of your man boobs permanently. Let’s get started…
Gynecomastia is the abnormal presence of excess mammary tissue in the male breast resulting in visually larger-than-normal “breasts”. It can occur at any point in a male’s life but is most common during adolescence and old age–in both of those cases it is considered to be an abnormal condition associated with either hormone imbalance or metabolic disorder.
In the case of adolescent gynecomastia, it’s often an understandable source of emotional distress, but it should be noted that in the majority of those cases it will go away of its own accord within a few years, though as many as 30% of boys who develop gynecomastia in adolescence will have it for the rest of their lives if it’s not treated early on with hormone therapy within the first 2-3 years (though gynecomastia can always be treated later via surgery, but of course that’s a last resort).
Man Boobs: What Causes Them
Gynecomastia is generally attributed to either an imbalance of sex hormones or the sensitivity of the breast tissue to those hormones (that is, you have a normal hormone level but your breast tissue is over-sensitive to those hormones), though a specific cause is rarely determinable in each individual case.
The exception to the above is if you’re taking either the drug Digoxin or Furosemide or both, as approximately 4-10% of all gynecomastia cases are due to these drugs (the chances are higher if both drugs are administer simultaneously).
Types of Gynecomastia
- Puffy Nipples: This is one of the most common forms of gynecomastia and results when the excess mammary tissue is confined almost entirely under the areola, sometimes extending slightly outside of it.
- Pure Glandular: This particular variety is almost exclusive to bodybuilders and athletes using anabolic steroids and results from the fact that the body will convert excess testosterone (which there is because of the steroids) into estrogen, which triggers the excess growth of mammary tissue in the breast.
- Adolescent: In this case the condition is considered to be hereditary in nature (that is, it’s genetic and you inherited it from your parents) and is extremely common with as many as 30-60% of all adolescent boys suffering from it at some point. It usually shows up around 12-14, right when puberty begins, and goes away on its own within 2-4 years.
- Adult: This is the most common form and is identical to adolescent gynecomastia except that most adults who have the condition developed it in adolescence and kept it into adulthood, which happens in as many as 30% of adolescent gynecomastia cases.
- Pseudogynecomastia: Like we’ve mentioned before, this isn’t considered “real” gynecomastia because it’s cause by excess adipose tissue (fat) though it looks much like real gynecomastia.
- Asymmetrical/Unilateral: This is when either only one breast is enlarged or one is unevenly larger than the other.
- Severe Gynecomastia: This particular type is often distinguished by saggy and/or excess skin along with significantly enlarged breasts and is most often found in older people due to the fact that skin elasticity decreases with age which results in more skin being produced to hold the excess tissue because it won’t stretch as much as it used to.
Treatment
The correct way to deal with gynecomastia is to treat the underlying cause, which is typically a hormone imbalance, and when done correctly will usually lead to a significant improvement in the condition in a relatively short period of time. First of all, any medications such as the ones mentioned above that may aggravate or even cause the patient’s gynecomastia should be switched for an alternative that won’t do that (e.g. risperdal can be changed out for eplerenone).
Secondly, the underlying cause, as I’m sure you’re aware by now, is a hormone imbalance or an oversensitivity to normal hormone levels by your breast tissue (both of which are treated precisely the same way), and for the majority of people the hormone imbalance, pay attention, is not genetic.
That is…you’re doing it to yourself somehow, there’s something in your environment you’re exposing yourself to that’s aggravating your body’s hormone response, and the most likely culprit, by far, is food.
What I did
For several years I tried all manner of fat-burning diets and exercise, and though I managed to lose weight and burn fat, I didn’t lose any fat where it really counted: my breasts. This was because normal diets are just designed to burn off normal fat, they’re not designed to burn off breast tissue or to balance hormone levels.
About 6 months ago I found a diet that was designed to do specifically that, it was developed by doctors for the purpose of naturally balancing hormone levels in men with gynecomastia who have an imbalance due to their diet, which is causing a hormone imbalance, which in turn is causing their gynecomastia.
I can’t just give it to you here without violating the copyright of the guy who came up with it and getting sued, so I have to send you on over to his official site here where you can get some more details about what precisely it is that’s in his system.
The whole thing is available as an e-book that you can download right away and it will tell you precisely what foods are known to cause problems that should be cut out of your diet right away (no, carbs aren’t the problem, you can eat those).
Because they’re almost certainly making things worse, he’ll explain the right way to eat and the secret he’s come up with based on cycling your diet that you don’t see in any other “weight loss” guides (because that’s not what this is, it’s how to balance your hormone levels such that you get rid of your man boobs), the mistakes that guys make that not only worsen the condition but can even cause it to be permanent so that it can only be treated by surgery (and no one wants to go through that).
By following his advice I actually managed to almost completely get rid of my own gynecomastia in around a month, which is actually a bit longer than he claims most people can do it in (he claims 3 weeks on average), it just completely blew my mind that it was this easy all along and all the suffering and hours in the gym every day had been completely unnecessary (he gives you a customized workout you can do to further sculpt and harden your chest if you like that only requires about 15-20 minutes, it’s the one that I’m currently on now).
Again, I can’t possibly urge you enough to at least take 5 minutes to have a look at what he has to say, go here now: How to utterly annihilate your man boobs in 30 days.

ok so the “M-O-T-I-V-A-T-I-O-N” definitely payed off. just think about all those fiinnneeeee ass women ( who dont want to touch those saggy ass mann boobies ) They wanna run their fingers up and down chizzled man muscle chests. so far i’v lost 30 LBS from 200 down to 170. im 5ft 8 by the way. those thirty pounds show much improvement . my man boobies have already been reduced by at least one cup size !!!!!!!!!!!! woooooo !!!! and im still going strong . just think of all those girls . . . . with their long hair . . . and sexy asses . . and firm [women boobies]. . . go FU**ING grab your mother F***ING ipod and set that S**T to shuffle. then get your fat ass out the door (as i have done) and jog your self down the block . thats right, were gonna take a ride on the Escalegs. the ol foot mobile… just keep going until you feel like your gonna fall on the concrete and die.[ you know your doing a good job if your man boobies are flopping in the wind and there seems to be a sweat faucet underneath them.] then turn around and go home. eat 6 little meals a day. stay away from fatty stuff like cake . . . . . chocolate cake . . . . . with vanilla icing . . . . .. mmmm. . . . yeah . nun of that shit. be sure to warm up. dance . move. jump around. do something other than wasting your life not knowing what boobies feel like ( im not talking about yours )
get out there !!!!!!!!! go ! go !!! go !!!!!! . . .. . . and dont sit in a dark, hot, windowless room practicing hardcore masturbation like big ben says. . . . i mean unless thats all your currently capable of doing, i guess its kinda like a work out. . . but only one arm will get all muscular and you’ll look like a fat man boob with one ripped gorilla arm . lol. . . . . . small stones start huge rockslides . . . small stones. . . . .stepping stones . . . do what you can. and then do a little more everyday. and pretty soon you too can have a nice big plate of poontang . helllllll yeahhhhhhh. oh and dont do drugs. . unless it increases your metabolism somehow . .
First things first – don’t hate yourself at the moment, especially if you’re a teenager. Once you get the fit body you’re aiming for, your past as a chubby guy will fade from people’s memories (or you’ll just impress them with how far you’ve come).
This is how to lose weight. It worked for me. Don’t half-ass it or you won’t get results.
–Get determined. Prepare yourself for discomfort, physical exertion, missing out on unhealthy food you like. It will be worth it.
–Get aerobic exercise 3-5 times a week for at least 30 minutes. Run, walk, bike, play sports, play DDR – anything that keeps your heart rate up.
–If you want to build muscle (which I can tell you from experience burns calories faster), consult with a trainer or buy a legitimate exercise book to learn how to do it effectively. Otherwise your slapped-together amateur weightlifting plan will waste your time.
–DON’T PAY FOR WEIGHT LOSS DRUGS. Most drugs are a scam that preys on lazy people who can’t be bothered to work out and control their appetites.
How to eat:
1. Eat 3 meals and 2 snacks, but in modest portions of healthy food. Eating this way will help speed up your metabolism. (Starving yourself will backfire; it prompts your body to store all the fat you eat to protect you from your self-induced “famine”.)
2. Cut out all liquid calories except for milk. Yes, this means sodas, sweet tea, sugared-up coffee, and juice. Reduce cheese and dessert to once a week until you reach your weight goal. Obviously no fast food either. This is the quickest healthy way to lose weight.
3. Get 100% of your daily value of fiber. Fiber helps trap fat and carry it through your digestive system unused. Don’t eat any bread, waffles, cereal, or other carb-y grain product unless it has at least 15% of your daily fiber.
4. Pay attention to serving sizes. You are probably eating bigger portions than your body needs.
5. Fill up on fiber-rich grains, colorful fresh or steamed vegetables (not cooked in oil, and certainly not french fries!), lean protein, and fruit.
(Disclaimer: consult a real live doctor or nutritionist too. They know best.)
Once you lose weight, you’ll have to keep eating healthy to keep it off! Basically keep doing the things I listed above, but after you’ve reached your weight goal you can hesitantly add a few indulgences back into your diet once a week or so. Once you get into a habit of good eating, it really isn’t as hard as it looks!
Man up and resist temptation. Keep yourself on track however you have to. If you slip up, though, forgive yourself and don’t spiral into hopelessness – keep working toward your eventual reward! Best of luck.
thank you ive found the info im looking for i started going to the gym doing about 30 min on the tred mill and doing some push ups and benching but i was still eating alot now i know i also need do be doing cardio as well as diet with smaller meals thank you i will reply in three months and tell you how hard my chest is right now its a little hard but they stiil look like boobs
You don’t know how often I’ve said “I want to lose these… I’ll start tomorrow!” Believe me, this doesn’t work. I just said it two minutes ago, “I’ll do it tomorrow,” and I doubt I will. Procrastination is my biggest problem.
I’m 15 (16 in three months), 6’2″, and 200lbs. I have a bit of a belly, but not as bad as my “breasts”. They’re fairly… Noticeable. I get so humiliated when I swim, I still swim with my shirt on.
And another factor of this situation (procrastinating), is that I CAN’T run for a long time, because, too be honest, I smoke. I’m trying to quit, it’s been about a week and a half, but it’s so damn hard.
All in all; me getting the will power to exercise, is like trying to quit smoking. It’s one of the hardest thing any person can do.
Do heavey workouts on your legs and arm muscles, but lots of reps and lite wieght on your chest. Heavey wwieght lifting on your pecs will make them look even bigger cause you’ll build more muscle when you need to burn fat first! Lots of reps will tone your pecs not make them bigger. But you want other muscles to get bigger cause the bigger they are the more fat they will burn.
This is a good article and pretty much what I’ve been doing to change my life for the past half year. I was always fat and I didn’t even realize how fat until I see pictures of myself nowadays. I could never find the motivation and self discipline to really lose weight and so I just got fatter and fatter. At one point last year I was frustrated that I couldn’t hold a diet and then I saw how a few other fat people I knew lost a lot of weight, that was when it was time for change.
I went to a health counselor, I completely changed the way I eat and I got a gym membership. At first it felt like a diet, but the longer I went, the more it started to change the way I looked at food in general. These days I would have to force myself to eat fattening foods like fast food and soda. I go to the gym twice a week and do 40min of running each time and about an hour of lifting weights.
I lost about 25 pounds in a few months and I’m going for another 25. I’m almost happy with the way I look now and my upper body has gotten pretty muscular, especially chest and triceps. I already look and feel so much better though and I notice how women look at me differently too.
Here are a few tips for you guys having trouble with this:
- stop blaming people/thing/circumstances and start doing something about it. I always thought it was unfair that other people could eat unhealthy and stay thin but I can’t it – and it is! But that doesn’t change thing, deal with it. But believe me: once you change the way you eat, I don’t think you’ll ever want to go back to how it was! I know I don’t..
- stop drinking soda or other sugared beverages and go for water and sugarless coffee or tea
- stop eating fast food, take time to cook and learn how to cook healthy, chance is you’ll start having fun doing it (I love cooking these days and I never just put a pizza in the oven)
- keep a journal of what you eat the first few weeks or months and use it to try to plan your meals and eat regularly and healthy
- do your preferred sport with a friend, it’s sooo much easier to be consistent
- buy yourself a nice sweather/thsirt/shirt/suit thats one size to small for you. try it again in a few months, you’ll feel like a million bucks when it fits
Don’t give up, life is to short to be unhappy with yourself!
Damn I put a lot of spelling mistakes in that post. Whatever.
Btw: that post is coming from a guy who was putting losing weight off “for tomorrow” for the best part of his 21 years. START TODAY!
my advice is eat right play hard and the most important thing is to have fun with it.like if u run your goal reward yourself(but not with unhealthy foods) it will make you feel good about your self.and trust me youll like the way you look afterward.

Hormone / testosterone killing chemicals are found in many substances, especially plastics. Your body ingests these, especially infants because of the switch from glass bottles to plastic ones, hence the rise in effeminate (metro and emo) type males. It’s a fundamental alteration and lack of testosterone. The bottles you drink from, cups from fast food places, etc. Drink from glass bottles only. Everyone who has man boobs, get your testosterone and estrogen levels checked by your doctor, tell him you have gynecomastia, they can give you estrogen blockers and up your testosterone. Combine that with working out your chest, cardio, and diet you will lose your man boobs in 3 months, tops.
i love man boobs!

I’m 17 and I have had moobs since I was like 13 or 14. every day of the year since then I wear a hoodie. I am about 160 pounds and 5 foot 8 or so. I hate it so much, I walk around in 30 degrees celcius in a sweater and its the worse. I haven’t been swimming in this time, and I absolutely love swimming
it’s pretty difficult, the only person I have ever told about this is my brother. honestly I dont think it is because of fat, cause I’m not really fat, and it’s not because of puberty. they aren’t leaving anytime soon unless I do something about it. I’m even too embarassed to go to the gym because I’ll just want to keep my hoodie on. and who exercises in a fking hoodie!?
I’ll try the suggestions and will write back if anything changes.

I’ll probably end up getting surgery done for mine. I’ve heard all the ways they say you can lose them but it’s bullshit(in my case anyway). Exercising or starving myself never helped me. I’m so sick of never going to the pools, talking to girls, or just going outside on a hot day and not able to wear a jacket because of the embarrassment. At 25 my life feels wasted. If for some reason i cant get the surgery, I’m just going to live by myself and wait to die.
Well, I am in my 30′s and I understand what you every single one of you is talking about. I was skinny when I was younger and I started to work out because thats what I thought that I was supposed to do. I put extra emphasis on my chest and by my late teens/early 20′s had the chest that girls supposedly loved. As I got older I didn’t adjust my workouts and ended up with a strong but BIG chest and realized this when I kept hearing side comments from some girls and guys. I had issues when I was young regarding my small chest and never wanted to take my shirts off and ended up doing the same but for the opposite reason as I got older…I have since adjusted my workouts and am noticing a change.
Here is my advice for what it is worth…
1-Develop the muscles around your chest so that it is not the most noticeable (shoulders, arms, and YOUR BACK) . Lots of focus on your shoulders and YOUR BACK. Most people dont think of developing their back but it definitely offsets your chest if you do. Develops your “wings” (lats) and gives you an overall stronger upper body with emphasis off of your chest.
2-More reps and less weight on your chest workout…strengthen the muscles without over-developing them.
3-Good amount of cardio…you need to pay attention to how much works for you and how your chest is responding to it…or if it isnt. Those of you who are thin but still have boobs know what I am talking about.
4-Diet…cut out more and more of the fat with healthy snacks replacing the crap. Less BEER for those of you who drink and wonder why your bigger than those who dont
5-Visualize and Focus…Visualize the chest that you want and focus on it happening every time that you workout. I mean it. We all do this whenever we truelly want something and it definitely applies here.
6-Be patient…you wont have to wait until you are my age until you see results because once I understood this stuff and started doing it all I have noticed a change and it is still changing for the better. Give yourself time and let it happen for you but you need to put the energy into this or just accept what you have…seriously…you can do this one step at a time…
